Introducing the Visionary Directors of iLEAD Flex

Following the Antelope Valley Union High School District board’s unanimous approval of iLEAD Flex, excitement is building for the 2026-27 school year. Operating out of a campus at 3700 W Ave L in Lancaster, CA, this tuition-free TK-12 public charter school will seamlessly blend project-based learning with social-emotional development.

Central to this expansion is a leadership team that brings decades of proven educational expertise with whole-child advocacy. Meet the iLEAD Flex codirectors shaping the future of education in the Antelope Valley: Talaya Coleman and Tiffanee Reynolds.

Talaya Coleman: Director of iLEAD Flex Studio (Grades TK-8)

Director of the highly successful iLEAD Antelope Valley Studio program, Talaya Coleman will now take the helm of the iLEAD Flex Studio program. This campus-based program will offer a full-time classroom format Monday through Thursday, with optional hands-on workshops on Fridays.

Under Ms. Coleman’s leadership, iLEAD AV Studio’s waitlist grew longer than the previous campus could accommodate. The launch of iLEAD Flex allows her to open doors to families who have been waiting to join.

Named Educator of the Year in 2018, Ms. Coleman is recognized for leading with her heart. She believes that for students and staff to excel, they must first feel supported, seen, and heard. She holds a M.S. in Special Education and an Administrative Services Credential, and she is an expert in special education and interdisciplinary project-based learning.

Tiffanee Reynolds: Director of iLEAD Flex Exploration (Grades TK-12)

Heading up iLEAD Flex Exploration—the school’s hybrid and independent home study program—is Tiffanee Reynolds. Ms. Reynolds will oversee a flexible array of pathways, ranging from fully independent home study to multi-day in-person hybrid schedules.

Ms. Reynolds joins iLEAD Flex following a highly successful tenure as Principal at Willow Elementary School, which she guided to recognition as a 2025 California Distinguished School.

With over 20 years of experience in educational leadership, she believes that students thrive when their education is engaging, personalized, and connected to the real world. She brings a modern, multifaceted toolkit to iLEAD Flex to ensure every child finds success on their own terms. Ms. Reynolds is a Doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership and has a deep background in project-based learning, arts integration, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) learning, and restorative practices.
