iLEAD Flex Exploration Drop-Off & Pick-Up Guidelines
To help keep all learners safe and ensure an efficient arrival and dismissal process, please review the following guidelines. Families have three dismissal options: Drive-Through Valet, Walk-Up Pickup, or Walking Home. (See diagram below.)
1. Drive-Through Valet
Morning Drop-Off
- TK–8: Valet drop-off is available from 8:30–9:00 AM. Families may also park and walk their learner onto campus for breakfast and to meet their facilitator at the classroom.
- High School: High school learners and their younger siblings may be dropped off in the high school parking lot.
Afternoon Pick-Up
- TK–8: Valet pickup begins promptly at 2:00 PM.
- Early Sign-Out: If your learner must leave early for an appointment, they must be signed out through the main office before 1:30 PM. Early sign-outs will not be processed after 1:30 PM.
High School Pick-Up Details:
- Times & Location: High school students can be collected from the high school parking lot at either 2:00 PM or 3:30 PM.
- Sibling Pick-Up Option: Older students are permitted to pick up younger siblings and walk with them to the high school lot. To arrange this, notify your learner’s facilitator so they can be escorted to the high school area.
Valet Expectations
- Display Your Placard: Clearly display your official valet card in your windshield.
- Remain in Your Vehicle: Please stay inside your vehicle while in the valet line. Staff will assist your learner with entering the vehicle.
- Drive Safely: Follow all designated traffic-flow patterns and do not use mobile phones while driving on campus.
- Be Courteous: Please treat staff and other families with patience and respect.
2. Walk-Up Pickup
Families who are not using the valet line may pick up their learner at the designated walk-up location.
- Walking Pass Required: Learners using walk-up pickup must have a Walking Pass from the front office.
- Pickup Location: Proceed to the tree-shaded walk-up area at the corner of the building at W. Ave. L and 37th Street West.
- Learner Release: A staff member will escort learners to the designated walk-up location.
3. Walking Home
- Walking Pass Required: Learners walking home must have a Walking Pass from the front office. High school learners are exempt.
- Bring the Pass Daily: Learners must carry their Walking Pass each day.
- Departure Deadline: Learners must leave campus or be picked up no later than 2:20 PM.
