Dear iLEAD Flex Exploration Families,
On Thursday, August 6, we welcomed families, educators, and community members to celebrate the grand opening of iLEAD Flex! A special thank-you to Rep. George Whitesides and representatives of Senator Suzette Martinez Valladares and Assemblyman Tom Lackey for joining us to commemorate this momentous day. iLEAD Flex is proud to offer a dynamic, flexible school choice, and we are dedicated to inspiring lifelong learners in our community.
We are thrilled to start school with you on Tuesday and to begin in-person workshops on August 17 (high school) and August 18 (TK-8th grade).
We have an amazing team of facilitators, counselors, and support staff who have been working hard to prepare for the first day of school! Please note that our iLEAD Flex Exploration staff is a brand-new team. They are working as quickly as they can to provide you with information. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we get our new school up and running! Important Dates to Remember
Chromebook & iPad Checkout
iLEAD Flex Exploration enrolled families are invited to pick up school-issued Chromebooks and iPads on Monday, August 10, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Time slots are scheduled by learners’ last names. If you’re unable to make it, alternate dates are scheduled. Please see the article below for details.
Virtual Meet the Facilitator Event: Monday, August 10, at 3:30 PM
Please note that we have a Virtual Meet the Facilitator Event August 10 at 3:30 PM. All iLEAD Flex Exploration families are welcome to join! Please sign up here and you will be sent the Zoom link to the email(s) you provide prior to the event.
School Begins: Tuesday, August 11
The first day of school is Tuesday, August 11. Your learner’s educational facilitator (EF) will email you on Monday, August 10, with instructions for the first week, an opportunity to schedule a conversation, and information about connecting with the facilitator and classmates on Zoom. Please note that in-person workshops do not begin until August 17 for high school and August 18 for TK-8.
Workshops Begin: Monday, August 17 (High School) & Tuesday, August 18 (TK-8th Grade)
- High School: First In-Person Workshops Monday, August 17. Workshops for high school are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You will receive further information with a map showing where you will drop off high schoolers.
- TK-8th Grade: First In-Person Workshops Tuesday, August 18. The hours are 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Parents will be able to walk their learner onto campus. Their facilitators will greet the learners and take them into their classroom at 9:00 AM.

Communication
ParentSquare
Please be sure that you have activated your ParentSquare account. Important reminders and information regarding school emergencies and events will be relayed through this system. ParentSquare sends emails, texts, and if you download the app (http://parentsquare.com/signin), app notifications too.
Monday Message, Weekly Updates and School Website
The Monday Message is sent out each week to all of our families. It includes articles, upcoming events, updates, and other pertinent information regarding school activities. You can subscribe to the Monday Message by entering your email in our Monday Message sign-up window on our website: ileadflex.org.
Weekly updates are also sent out to you from your child’s facilitator and contain very important information regarding classroom instruction and other imperative information.
Social Media
iLEAD Flex has two social media platforms for families and friends to access. Our Facebook and Instagram accounts are constantly updated with photos and descriptions of the learning process. Please check out our Facebook and Instagram.
